 Early Flick Stick (8439)
The value of flick sticks has been hurt, because of all the reproductions of them. They are earmarked with a poorly fitting round brass door.
This is the earlyest ever encountered. It is in a large naturally formed shaft. It looks to be American, before 1850. You can see there was a square brass door on top that is now long gone. It works well. All it needs is a flick of the wrist.
