Even if you aren't interested in this cane, the description is worth reading, because the 3 in ferrule is perfectfor its age. In approx. 1850 they started to crown the roads so ferrules didn't need to be as long as they once were. Notice the steel tip. The older the cane the longer the ferrule. The handle is beryl and beautiful.
