 The Best Japanese Fishing Pole Ever (8761)
Fishing poles from japan are usually plain and not very interesting. This one is very ornately hand carved with 4 inch inlaid and handcarved bone faces. With a samuri soldier, woman, and child, you would presume it was a family. Near mint condition. Ferrule is metal with a huge mint condition rubber tip, fitting perfectly. As the tip is over 1 1/4" it wouldn't be easy to find that as most of them are missing. This is circa 1890 and the 4 section pole extends to over 8'. You won't see another one this nice
