 The Most Ornate Carved Shaft Possible In Ebony (8774)
I put this under manufactured because the cane was made by a professional cane maker. This particular style should really be call anglo philipino, as they were made for service men in the Philipines. I have one that is almost identical to this one that has presidio 1890 manila. The presidio was an American military base. Ebony is very difficult to carve and these are microcraved which would have taken a huge amount of time to carve and would have had to have been done with a hammer and chisel. The handle is not a model I have seen before with elephant, house, and tiger all hand made in relief. This was not for the natives.
