Automaton Stag handled Sword Cane (8826)

If they don't laugh, you can stab them with this unusual combination of a funny man with a big nose and a mechanical mechanism to stick out his tong by pushing a button on the back of his head. The catch on the sword mechanism is inside so no one could ever tell its a sword cane. The very interesting engraving on the blade looks pure art deco making it from the 20's. The natural bark covered branch shaft is certainly in character with the very large rustic looking informal handle. The ferrule is very unusual in that it is also staghorn with a steel tip on the bottom.
