 Greatest Metal Polish In The World For All Your Metal Handles (397278)
I have sold simichrome for over 30 years, and it will make all your handles look terrific. It will polish silver, copper, brass,aluminum, gold and any other metal, leaveing a protective coating so you won't have to polish as often. The only thing it won't work on are the shiney spots on silver plate. Silver oxidises and turns black over time. If its silver plate and some of the silver is worn off, that area won't turn black, so when you go to polish it it won't shine because its a pewter material under the plate. Simichrome will still polish the area where the plate is intact, so its still the best polish to use. My recommendation is have these worn handles replated, they look best when they look as they were supposed to when they were new, shinney. As this is a cream there are also some ornate handles with silver over ivory that you have to be very careful with. The metal turns polishing cloths black and can get in the cracks of the ivory and any filigree. For ornate handles I recommend the next polish, impregnated paper. We all have metals that need polishing, so my recommendation is that you get them both, as they each have a different use.
