 Remington Rifle Cane with after market handle (8953)
Here’s a subject I know little about, Remington gun canes. On the surface, many would say what’s to know, they made 500 of each model and cost between 5000 and 15000, and every weapon cane collector wants one. P.S. I’m not sure there were 500 of every model.
Screw on after market handle. Number 13 serial number and has a pin thru the shaft just below the threads. The threads in the leg match the shaft.
He says there were only 4500 made, and because they were once illegal many were destroyed. He is writing a book on the subject, and believes they will continue to go up in value.
