 Boxed enamel and sterling umbrella (8114)
What I like about collecting boxed handles is rhe signed boxes. Most handles arn't signed and its difficult to trace them. This one is signed, Peret Fre'res, Felex Bouchet Successors, Olermont-Ferrand. You can also see by the stay tips for umbrellas it was intended to be an umbrella handle not a cane handle. These boxed sets do not have a properly established value as yet. They are far rarer than any one on a shaft. Time will tell how much. Notice the ivory tips and ferrule match the enamaling.
