Carrage Sword Canes 18th Century (8252)

I’m putting these two together because they are so much alike. Because these are sword canes and the blades are so different it calls for showing you both of them. Notice how the top approx. 8” are smaller than the rest of the shaft, this is called stepped Malacca.
It’s the same as saying there is a knot there, and is not as valuable a shaft as the previous cane,36" between knots, but the swords probably make these more valuable. 48” total length, 6" ferrule, circa 1780.
