German Military (8322)

I always thought this was a reservist cane. Then as I started to write about it I was't so sure. When I am finished writing in a few minutes I still won't know for sure. Maybe someday a mind who knows will come along and tell us. I didn't have enough space to show you the other two officers on the other side. I do know the 17 on the shaft is for the regament, and the crown must be the army symbol. I have seen very few of these over the years in the places I have been, which isn't Germany. That must be where they all are, as they had to have been common in their day. Soon you will come to a cane that says reservest on the handle. This one says nothing so maybe it's for active duty and the pictures are the officers of the Regiment. The shaft is compressed paper with a steel rod.
