Kaleidoscope (8357)

Here's the only old one I have ever seen. A kaleidoscope expert can tell an old one by the view and the materials inside. You can see the antique lace and other old items thru the lense. The pattern is terrific. The handle is all nickel on a hand carved shaft. The collar that turns the pattern has a tight fit unlike the modern ones. The K on the shaft must be the owners monagram, and the swastika, the indian symbol of good luck, goes left. The German one goes the oposite way, or right. To me the swastika makes it American, 1890 to 1910.
