Relic On Huge Handle (8576)

I don't have the slightest idea who this is, I haven't had time to research this and the Saint name looks different than most relics I have seen. The name is B. Friderict, O. E. S. Aug., When the relic is removed from the handle there is the typical catholic system for installing relics. The piece of cloth that the relic is installed on is hand stiched accross the back of the piece through holes that are drilled for the purpose. Hot wax is then dripped accross the entire back of the piece covering the string and cloth back. While the wax is soft the bishop would stamp his personal seal into the wax. I don't know whether he did it himself or a priest did it, but it was the priest seal that promiced the piece of bone or cloth was authantic to the persons name on the top under the glass. The well that this fits in is in the one piece handle. What makes this cane worthy of being here is not the relic but it's 2.6"D silver plate handle and 1.8"D shaft. Looks to me like 1890 to 1900. It would be interesting to see the span of this bishop.
