Dike says this cane, illustrated 33/1, is rarely encountered in a gun cane, hers has an ebony handle. This one has a cream porcellain handle. I have never seen a gun cane with a porcellian handle. She says the needle penatrates a special cartridge, I've never seen one of them either. Any others out there?
