 A Perfume Atomizer. (8837)
It's easy to put a perfume adomizer on a shaft, generally making them suspect. The more you see the more likly they are being made. The pocket atomizers that are used as handles made for another use are all about the same size, 5/8" by 3". If this one is authentic it is certainly not a common item, as it is over l"D, 4"L. This one squirts thru the top of the handle and works with a twist them pump. When it is taken apart, it has a glass container inside. You can see it's signed by the maker, Made in France, S.G.B.G., not guaranteed by the Government, on a Malacca shaft. Made in France makes it newer than 1914. The plating is also unique in nickel, as the pocket ones usually come in gold or silver plate.
