 Telescope By Richardson, Circa 1790 (8845)
This hand made telescope made to look like bamboo has a number of interesting features. Originally I thought it was susposed to be leather covered, but as I examined it I don't think it was. The metal was put together in sections, and the lines in the metal arn't even. There is also a clip that looks like it held a removable wrist strap. The original cap, the handle, is spun, showing its age.
