 Ivory Wine Testing With Family Crest (8849)
This alcohol percentage tester is gold filled and fits perfectly into the ivory container with a ½ drill hole in the lid to keep it in place and a well in the bottom. The weights all fit on the stem so nothing rattles. On the lid is the family crest in ivory of three knights with different plums on their head pieces. There is a gold bezel that adds to the class. When the handle is removed there are three boxwood and brass 12” round measures with several scales. There is 3 more half way down the shaft, and all 6 screw together for a six foot measure to determine how much wine is in a keg. It has a full bark Malacca shaft with a 4” brass ferrule.
