 Ground Temperature Thermometer (8947)
What is amazing is that the thermometer tube isn't broken and works well. This wouldn't be an easy one to replace because of how long the thermometer is, over 18". By putting the pointed brass ferrule into the dirt, the temperature registers on the side of the shaft. I put it here because of the large ivory pistol grip handle. This is the first of a series of Ivory gadget canes, which are all 3* or 4*. Ivory that have delicate containers, broke easily leaving very few surviving. Enjoy the variety, creativity, and workmanship.
