Center Snuff Container With Cloisonne Shaft and Sword Cane (9201)

This is the best of the 3 shown because of the high quality of the sharp steel blade with watermark. The Japanese were the best at putting a temper on a blade, a lot of work. Just repolishing a samuri sword blade is $100 an inch. Notice how the color of the handle again matches the dark terquoise blue of the shaft. Dragon on both. Also notice the goldstone on the container, a copper color with sparkle. A typical victorian material, that generally is on Japanese cloisonne, not Chinese. I don't ever remember seeing goldstone on Chinese cloisonne. Notice the hidden clasp on the sword mechanism, you would never know it was a sword cane to look at it. Early 1900's.
