 Gold On Iron Dress Cane Thats Also A Gadget (9210)
This and the next 3 gold and silver on iron canes are here because the important part of these canes is the workmanship of the handle. The only reason I kept these canes all these years is because they are gadgets. These are the only gadgets I have seen with this style of handle. There is also no question they were made to be gadget canes because of the threads in the one piece handle. The threads arn't added they were manufactured in the iron. These were also not made in Toledo Spain, the place where the majority that have a similar look were made. The 5th cane, a sword cane, was, in my opinion, was made in toledo, as were 6 and 7. Look at the side of the handle, its the more typical gun metal. The gold on the first 4 canes is much thicker and the iron handles are very heavy and thicker than the gun metal ones.
