 My Favorate Pair Of Priest Cane #2 (9211)
The handle on this one is called a pix, for the communion bread wafer. I've seen a lot of pix but never one this large, 3" in diameter. The lid is all hand engraved with a cross and olive branches, its really beautiful. The sterling handle is all gold plated which is called vermeal. Inside there is a massive sterling rosery that is the largest I have seen. Inside the shaft is a matching candleholder to the shaft and an extra handle. There is also an alternative handle of Mary in Gold over spelter or britania a pewter type materal.
