Grape Shoot Trimmer And Pollinator (8375)
Not all grape trimmers are canes. This one has a ferrule with a brass shaft about 8” long, and covers the scissors. There is a groove above the scissors with a slot in the side to hold the shaft and ferrule in place. It is obviously factory original. The brush knob on top is often missing, which is used to pollinate the grapes. Signed with a stamp on the handle, which is unreadable except brevette, or patented. The shaft is metal, fruit is stamped into the handle on one side and Fleur on the other. The mechanism in the other cane book, is the exact maker of this one, it even has a brush. It also says those with a ring are not canes and are longer. The length on this one is 37”. I don’t know how to find the patent information on this one to know what it says. For the moment, I like my cane.
