Factory Made Internal Fishing Net Cane (8543)

Most of the fish net canes have the net exposed, this one is all inside. The cap attaches to the net as it's difficult to pull it out by itself. The threads are made into the bottom of this one piece handle, making it factory made. The shaft becomes the handle, when the net is attached to the ferrule. The wood burned bamboo shaft at 1.25" D is a large cane. Circa 1900.
