Lusite Art Deco (8586)

You don't usually see such vibrant color's on Lusite. Lusite is more likly to be the most boring of the after cane umbrellas as it's usually clear. I think after cane umbrellas like this, are an undiscovered artistic bargain. I love the colors they made the covers from and the handles like this one are terrific, and all for less than $50. There are so many available you have to be careful not to buy those that don't have artistic marrit, or have covers that are not in perfect condition. It cost over $100 to cover any umbrella, and I have yet to see one of these I would spend that much money on. What I have done is put a terrific handle that has bad cloth on a umbrella that has a lossy handle. I bought a collection of bakelite animal handles, that I am finding good covers for. I believe all these Art Deco handles should be restored to their original glory. The collection came out of Argentina and the covers were problably worn out, at least they knew enough not to through the handles away.
