 Internal Percusion Gun Cane (8730)
This gun cane is not documented anywhere that I have seen. What I like about this one is that you can’t tell it’s a gun cane by looking at it. The cap goes inside the gun. The internal hammer slides back to cock with a flat piece that doesn’t look like it would be gun related. It is very well made, and doesn’t look home made, but it could be. I would date it not as early as a Days patent and before the civil war or 1855. Hook handles they say are newer than 1850
