Undocumented Magicians Table (8827)

Undocumented magicians table. When I bought this from Rick Wagner for $400 we couldn’t even get it out of the shaft. When I got home I put it in a vice to pull it out, it had been in there so long. What makes this so different than the seat canes that are similar, is the 20 supports that makes almost a perfect circle. The other differences are that the spring operated tripod screws into the shaft at the ferrule after it’s removed. The table fits into the top of the shaft. It’s very stable although its over 4ft tall. The cover fits into the top. As the tripod is the same as one in Dike on a seat cane I would assume it was made by the same company either as a prototype or on special order. Circa 1890.
