Road Walking Association (8932)

This isn't just a walking association, its a road walking one. They don't walk on grass or fields or hills unless it has a road on it. If you are going to have a thermometer on the outside of a cane it has to have a guard to protect it and the numbers on the guard. There weren't many canes that had that, in fact outside thermometer canes are quite scarce. I'd say a 3*. It's not that they are expensive, because of supply and demand. In fact a lot of my gadget canes don't have demand. This one is pretty classy, as authentic English canes are. Malacca shaft, silver thermometer cover, large ivory handle, enameled association plaque, and a human thermometer under the handle. This is also the longest thermometer I have ever seen. It goes from -40degrees to+150degrees. Thats a long road. Circa 1910.
