 One Piece Rhino Horn Cane (9165)
This 35" all rhino horn cane is very rare, and for sure rhino. I've spent years being misinformed about what was rhino and what wasn't, and this definitely is. Rhino is hair and goes from medium to dark in color. It also has a 2" rhino ferrule. There is a solid gold collar with the owners name on it. I would call this in above average condition, for a substance that was prone to worm holes, and this has some but is not distracting. There is a crack in the collar probably where it was soldiered together as it is a straight line, but it is not broken apart. One of the ways you know a piece is original is from how thin the gold is. I would date this very close to 1850.
