 Chief Of Hose Unit Of Fire Department Sword Cane (9189)
Great sabre blade on this very large presentation handle. A full 1" shaft, the largest size presentations came standard. The handle is also near mint condition. There were few canes that were fire related. This one tells all. He was Chief of Rushville Hose and dated 1906. The ladder department must have also had a chief, as well as a chief over the chiefs. Rushville sure had a lot of chiefs for such a small town I never heard of.
