Pair Of Ring Holder Canes In Sterling (9216)

These are two of my favorate manufactured canes as I have never seen any others. They aren't a matched pair as one has a complicated twist off factory made top to reveal the ring holder and the other has a hinged lid to reveal the holder. Both velvet holders are professonally manufactured by a jewelry box maker and fit perfectly the 2" ball handles. One has a hand engraved monogram. The only purpose I can think of would be hide their valuable rings. The shafts and monogram look circa 1900.
